Website build fees
One-time website build fees are based on the selected package, approved scope, and any custom requirements. A written proposal, invoice, or agreement controls the amount due, deposit schedule, balance due date, and launch requirements.
Website Maintenance Plan
BuildKD's Website Maintenance Plan is priced at $200 per month after the first 3 months free unless a written client agreement states a different rate. The plan includes hosting, periodic software updates, daily/weekly backups, server upgrades as necessary, uptime monitoring, firewall and reCAPTCHA-backed form spam protection, Google Analytics reports, basic local SEO maintenance, premium design system/theme resources, and ongoing access to an experienced web designer who knows the site.
Trial period
The first 3 months free may be implemented through a Stripe trial, a 100 percent discount, delayed billing start, or another written billing arrangement.
Cancellation
Clients can manage or cancel active subscriptions from the account billing area through Stripe Customer Portal once a subscription is active. Cancellation stops future subscription renewals but does not automatically refund prior payments or unpaid one-time build fees.
Non-payment
If payment fails or remains overdue, BuildKD may pause maintenance, support, edits, hosting changes, monitoring, backups, reporting, or access to paid account features after reasonable notice. Data export, transfer, or restoration may require account verification and payment of outstanding balances.
Refunds
Build fees cover strategy, design, development, project management, and technical work already performed and are generally non-refundable once work begins unless a written agreement says otherwise. Subscription refunds are handled case by case.
