Information we collect
BuildKD collects information visitors submit through contact, quote, signup, login, billing, and account forms. This may include name, business name, email, optional phone number, website URL, service interest, project details, account profile data, and support messages. BuildKD also collects basic site usage data, device/browser information, cookie preferences, and payment-related identifiers handled through Stripe. Card data is processed by Stripe and is not stored by BuildKD.
How we use information
BuildKD uses information to respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, provide website design and maintenance plan services, operate client accounts, process billing, send service communications, protect the site from abuse, measure performance, improve usability, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
BuildKD may use Vercel for hosting and analytics, Resend for email delivery, Stripe for billing and customer portal features, Neon for database hosting, Google Analytics for consent-based analytics, and Hotjar for consent-based session recording. These providers process information only as needed to support BuildKD operations and under their own privacy terms.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies support security, account behavior, and privacy preferences. Non-essential Google Analytics and Hotjar tools load only after consent where implemented. Visitors can manage preferences through the cookie banner or footer link.
California rights
California residents may request access, deletion, correction, opt-out of sale or sharing, and non-discrimination. Global Privacy Control signals are honored where applicable.
Retention and security
BuildKD retains information for as long as needed for inquiries, active services, support, billing, security, legal compliance, and reasonable business records. BuildKD uses practical administrative, technical, and access-control safeguards, but no internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
